Mission

Open Sky Hermitage is a contemporary eremitical community dedicated to contemplative prayer. It is intended as a permanent place of stillness—a place where visitors are welcomed to step back from noise and busyness and share in the daily round of prayer, work, silence and solitude for people of all faiths, or none, who seek the still small voice. The purpose of what we call Open Sky Hermitage—to tune out the noise and tune in to the greater reality—and offer others a time and place to do so.
